Unlock commission-free delivery with Order Anywhere and Uber

Reach more customers with fast, reliable delivery powered by Uber’s world-class courier network. Lightspeed partnered with Uber to empower your on-demand delivery in cost-effective and flexible ways via Order Anywhere:

  • Uber Eats integration: with this built-in integration, you can list your menus on Uber Eats marketplace to reach millions of monthly active platform consumers.
  • Uber Direct: list your menus on your own branded website, and get a white-label delivery solution powered by Uber with a flat fee per delivery.

Already using Order Anywhere? Login > My profiles, and follow below video to enable Uber Direct.

Not using Order Anywhere? You can try it for free for 14 days. Go to your Back Office > Product Switcher (the four-dot icon next to your account name) to activate your free trial.

What’s new in the Back Office

Search & filtering revamp in the item library

You told us our search & filtering was too clunky, so we changed it. Here’s what we changed:

  • Active & Archived items are now in two different tabs
  • The search bar autocompletes as you type
  • You can change your default filters if you want to
  • And you can view all available filters in a handy side panel

New minimum & maximum combo options

Goodbye choice between 1 or ‘unlimited’ items in an item group—now you can set whatever minimum and maximum number you want. The sky’s the limit! Extra price field for specific items in a combo coming soon…

More changes in the Back Office

  • You can now launch the Intercom button from your Back Office login screen—so you can reach us ASAP to troubleshoot login issues.
  • You can now update your bank info without having to call our support team.
  • Canadian French is now available in the Back Office
  • We gave the Back Office a performance upgrade, so it’s faster than ever.
What’s new in the payment experience

Tap to Pay on iPhone now available in Canada

Hey Canada, now you can take orders and payments directly on your iPhone with no additional hardware. If you’ve got an iPhone and the K-Series app, you can take orders and secure contactless payments from a single handheld device. Contact your Account Manager to add this payment method at no extra charge.

Issue a refund without terminal

Need to process a refund without a payment terminal on hand—or with no payment terminal at all? No problem. Now you can refund a credit or debit card payment in just a few taps on the POS, no terminals required. A new streamlined flow for partial refunds on the POS is coming soon… Please note that refunding without a terminal is currently available to merchants using Lightspeed Payments

What’s new in Advanced Inventory

New and improved stock counts

Got a lot of stock to count or a lot of ground to cover? You’re gonna love our latest updates. Now you can have multiple staff members taking inventory simultaneously—once complete, they’ll submit a single, reconciled stock count. Counts autosave to the cloud every 3 seconds, so users can hop in and out of counting as needed.

Multi-location recipe sharing

That’s right, one of our most requested features for Advanced Inventory has arrived! You can now share recipes across locations. If you’ve got multiple locations, this new update should save you heaps of time and effort.

Duplicate items in the Back Office

We know that creating and managing items can be laborious and time consuming, whether you’re first setting up your account or simply adding some new menu items. This should be super easy, especially if you already have an existing with most of what you need already set up. And now it is. Now you can duplicate items by either:

  • Clicking on the … next to an item in the item library; or Clicking on the Duplicate button inside the item.

Rename the item and you’re ready to go.
