• Today we rolled out to all merchant portal users within Hospitality the ability to refund standalone payments directly from the portal.
• Standalone payments now present refund and email receipt buttons, allowing merchant to refund (full/partial) by themselves, online.
• They can also send an electronic refund receipt to the card holder, by entering her mail address.

Date: February 21st, 2024

• Refunding from the Merchant Portal is now available to all payments, not just standalone.
• Customers can execute only one partial refund per payment. Payments older than 90 days cannot be refunded

LS Payments in Ireland! Customers in Ireland can now sign up and transact using Lightspeed Payments! They can now benefit from Lightspeed’s Unified Payments + POS platform and no longer have to work with with a separate, third party in order to accept payments while using our commerce platform.

• New: Users can now create custom discounts by amount or percentage directly in the POS.
• Improved: We updated the formatting on allergen information for items in the POS.
