Back Office

Date: September 25, 2023

  • Search: The cmd+k search is now available in the entire Back Office!! Just tap ‘cmd+k’ on any page and let the search adventure begin!
  • Menu management > Menus: If you have a discount, production instruction, transfer operation, account profile and/or web extension button on your menu and you clicked on ‘edit item’, you got an error. We fixed it. Now you can go from the button immediately to the details in the BO
  • POS Configuration: The option “Allow tipping at payment” is now only allowed when “Full table support” is enabled. This was always the case, but the UI did not support this. Now it does. And we even added a small info note to inform the customer
  • And in great demand, Menu management > Items > Item library:
    • You can now filter on ‘No statistical group’ in the item library
    • You can now sort all the items based on ‘statistical group’

  • Menu management > Items > Item library:
    • Speeeedddddd!  We did some changes under the hood to speed up the loading and editing of the item library
    • We hide archived items now by default when going to the item library. You can use the filters to make it appear again if you want
    • A BO user is not able anymore to edit a ‘global’ item when he/she is not linked to all locations of that business
    • A BO user can’t change the status of an item anymore (local, shared or global) when he/she is not linked to all locations of that business
    • We only shown 100 accounting groups in the dropdown of accounting groups when editing or creating items. We fix this; now even more than 100 accounting groups are shown
    • We fixed an issue where you could not export the item library when selecting different encodings (‘Custom’ export)
    • And last but not least, we added the export to Excel again to the item library 
  • Navigation
    • We fixed an issue where not all locations of a business were shown in the location selector. Specific issue was when a user was recently linked to a new location.
  • Menu management > Menus:
    • If you wish to change the button colour of multiple menu buttons at once, blue is seen as their current colour despite this not being the case. We fixed this and now you can change the colour of multiple buttons to blue again 
  • Feedback
    • We have updated the feedback form in the Back Office to get more streamlined feedback.

  • Business Report
    • Updated the header to remove numerical date so it’s easier for our merchants to read upon opening up their report.
      • Summary Business Report for ‘Tuesday September 12, 2023’ as opposed to ‘Summary Business Report for 08/12/23 ’
    • Remove “Grouped By” Filter duplicate
      • Accounting group or categorical view, the ‘grouped by’ verbiage was duplicated
    • Scaled page elements correctly for condensed view
      • Added a scroll bar to the report if a smaller monitor or window is active
